The origin of HCI Architecture Inc. was in 1978 in Calgary when Amir Hemani started the firm as Amir Hemani Architect and continued so till the end of 1980 at which time he went for an overseas assignment. The firm was re-started in 1992 and operated until 1994 when it became Hemani Circle Line Architecture Inc. and then HCI Architecture Inc. in 1998 at which time it opened a branch office in Cranbrook, B.C.
The company provides architectural, planning, interior design, facility management and project management services to private and public sectors. Amir Hemani had practised Architecture in Calgary, initially working for local small and medium sized firms in the capacity varying from a junior draftsperson to a project manager/administrator including Associate of the firm.
Amir Hemani has over 30 years of quality personal experience in providing a well rounded service in Design, Planning, Project Management, Feasibility Study, Space Planning and Contract Administration on Commercial, Residential, Institutional, Cultural and Recreational projects.
