Services
Landscape Design
Our landscape design process begins with a free in-home consultation to understand your vision and property requirements. We create computer-generated designs that visualize your outdoor space before construction begins. Our designers specialize in integrating functional elements like patios, walkways, and gardens with aesthetic features to maximize usability and curb appeal. Every design considers local climate conditions and maintenance requirements while focusing on your lifestyle needs.
Interlock Patios
We install durable interlock patios using premium materials from Techo-Bloc and Permacon. Our designs offer customization through various colors, patterns, and textures that complement your home's architecture. The modular system allows for creative layouts while maintaining structural integrity. Patios are constructed with proper drainage and edge restraints to ensure longevity in Ottawa's climate.
Driveway Installation
Our interlock driveways combine aesthetic appeal with superior durability compared to traditional asphalt. We use a 12-inch granular base with proper compaction to prevent settling. Customization options include border accents and pattern variations. The installation includes polymeric sand joints for weed prevention and edge restraints to maintain structural integrity over time.
Deck Construction
We build decks using cedar, pressure-treated wood, and composite materials tailored to your outdoor living needs. Designs incorporate features like built-in seating, lighting, and pergolas. Our construction follows building codes with proper footings and drainage considerations. Decks integrate seamlessly with existing landscaping elements for cohesive outdoor spaces.
Retaining Walls
We construct functional and decorative retaining walls using interlock pavers or armor stone. These structures address sloped yards while creating tiered gardens or level entertainment areas. Proper drainage systems prevent water damage, and we offer various finishes to match your property's aesthetic while ensuring structural stability.

Have used Ted and his team twice and both times very pleased with the effort and results. Just finished landscaping, a previously disused part of our garden into a new planting area with a smart block path.

My Mum and Dad have recently had their pond refurbished. Ted and his team were efficient, professional and friendly and ensured the job was done to the highest standard. The pond looks as professional as ponds seen in aquatic centres and Ted went the extra mile to help my parents out with a few other little jobs. Nothing was too much trouble all at a very reasonable price.

A-Z Landscaping created a beautiful patio for us. They were extremely professional from the beginning of the planning stage to the end of the cleanup. We were out of town when most of the project was in process. When we returned home we were astounded with the fantastic results. Wow! Thank you to Peter and Adam and Zack and the whole crew!
