We recommend mowing your lawn at a height of 2 1/2 to 3 inches. The reason for this is that the length of the grass blade is directly proportional to the length of the root system. If a lawn is cut too short, its root system will not have the ability to retain moisture, fight weed infestation and most importantly withstand Winnipeg's hot summer weather.
