I went in looking for backsplash tile. I hadnt realized it was by appointment only due to COVID, but they were kind enough to let me have a look and one of their salespeople helped me. I found a tile I liked, so took a photo and a sample home. I emailed a week later to confirm they had the tile in stock because I had decided I wanted it, and questions about installation. I never heard back so a week later I called. I was asked who had helped me the day I had been in, we eventually figured it out as I had missed the name. She said she would have the salesperson call me back for the order. I never

Over $1330 worth of flooring ordered and did not arrive as stated. We had to call them to trace ... they advised it was stuck in the shipping container backlog. Refund given. Promised to send pics of similar flooring ... never arrived. Went to another store ... original flooring available by land from New Jersey within 2 weeks ... and at $1.00 less a tile!

Our experience with Whelans was awful. We dealt with them on an insurance claim and we were important to them until they secured our business and were then neglected completely. We were treated as an insurance cheque rather than customers. Our phone calls were not returned; our installer only brought a portion of our floor with the rest to follow a week and a half later, with no notice given. We were assured the rest would be delivered on a given day, which came and went with no word only to be told when we called the truck was out of service and we had to pick up the order ourselves.

Lockdown, sheesh. It was more challenging but made possible as we waited outside. Jacklyn was a great help. She was able to bring out the carpet samples and we were then able to select the marble tiling for the fireplace. It was made safe, as well as supportive, thanks Jaclyn!
