We are a family business, founded in 1998. Our home is the historic Livery Building in Fernie British Columbia, constructed in 1908 using stones harvested from the mighty Elk River. Your furniture is inspected prior to delivery, wrapped, and delivered in one of our company vehicles. Your furniture is put in place, and assembled by our delivery team.
We are fully insured and accept full responsibility for the safe delivery of your goods. If damage occurs during shipping, your furniture will be repaired or replaced as soon as possible. Industrial, Mid-century, Modern Farmhouse, and contemporary styles, in a variety of materials: Recycled & reclaimed woods, solid wood, steel bases, & upholstered seats in fabric & leather.

The Urban Settler was founded in North Vancouver British Columbia in 1998 by owner Paul Arcoite. The company specialized in sourcing & restoring antique furniture, and the designing & manufacturing of reclaimed wood furniture & feature walls. In addition to local custom work, the company supplied retailers, architects, and designers across western Canada, and became well known for its work in restaurant and hospitality dcor.
