Services
Chimney Cleaning
Professional chimney cleaning removes creosote buildup and debris to prevent fire hazards while ensuring optimal ventilation. Our technicians use specialized brushes and high-powered vacuums to clean masonry fireplaces, wood stoves, and chimney liners. Regular maintenance extends system lifespan and maintains insurance compliance, with technicians documenting each inspection for client records.
WETT Inspections
WETT-certified inspections evaluate chimney systems for code compliance and safety standards. Our auditors check structural integrity, clearances to combustibles, and proper installation of components. This service is crucial for insurance requirements and identifying potential hazards, with detailed reports provided to homeowners and insurers for documentation purposes.
Carpet Cleaning
Deep carpet cleaning removes embedded dirt, allergens, and bacteria using truck-mounted extraction equipment. Our process includes pre-treatment, hot water extraction, and deodorizing to restore carpet appearance and indoor air quality. Regular professional cleaning extends carpet longevity while maintaining hygienic living environments for families and businesses.
Chimney Repairs
We perform comprehensive chimney repairs including tuckpointing, crown restoration, and clay tile replacement. Our technicians address water damage, cracked liners, and masonry deterioration to prevent further structural issues. Using durable materials like Durock and stucco, we ensure repairs meet safety standards while preserving aesthetic integrity.
Installing Liners
Stainless steel chimney liner installation improves safety and efficiency for wood-burning systems. Properly sized liners prevent heat transfer to combustible materials while enhancing draft performance. This upgrade is essential for older chimneys lacking approved liners, ensuring compliance with current building codes and insurance requirements.

We have used WB Cleaning services since we moved to Barrie. Not only just to clean our chimney but also for WETT certification and chimney repairs. For insurance purposes we needed a WETT certification and knew that the previous owners did some odd things with the wood stove which we felt would be problematic and potentially costly to get repaired to be certified. Not only did WB corrected the issues so we could keep our wood stove, the price was fair and there was no hidden costs. Two years later we needed to repair our chimney and again used the services of WB. The work done was professional

Wayne did a great job fixing our chimney. It had to be taken down 5 courses of brick and then rebuilt. We have odd mortar (it sticks out rather than smooth) that he matched so that you can't tell the difference.
Looks much better after Wayne completed the job. Amazing that he put up all the scaffolding himself and carried up all of the heavy materials on his own. Wayne has also been cleaning our chimney for years. In addition to cleaning it from the bottom opening, he goes up to the top of the chimney to inspect it and clean it from there too. Great guy.

Wayne has cleaned our chimney for over 20 years. He put a cap on top of the chimney and installed a stainless liner in the chimney replacing the tile that had broken down. He always leaves his work area spotless. Wayne is not only a professional but is very personable as well . We would highly recommend him.

I have used Wayne's chimney cleaning services for well over 28 yrs and he is easily the best in the business. He is efficient, sweeps up and vacuums all around the fireplace and pretty well leaves the FP area spotless. His prices are more than fair and a few yrs. ago he redid the crown top of my chimney and did a great job. No need to look further for a good chimney sweep. This guy IS the best.

I have used AWB cleaning for over 20 years. Wayne is always pleasant and takes care to be neat and tidy when in the house. He always covers the area with drop cloths and then vacuums up afterwards. One year we forgot to get the cleaning done in the fall and by January our fireplace was sending smoke into the house. Wayne came out right away, and cleaned the chimney in the cold, and that solved the problem. I will continue to use AWB cleaning.
