Services
Landscape Design
Our landscape design service creates tailored outdoor spaces that balance aesthetics with functionality. We work closely with clients to develop plans that incorporate drainage solutions, retaining walls, and native plantings while adhering to local bylaws. Each design considers terrain challenges and environmental impact, ensuring sustainable results that enhance property value and usability for residential and commercial clients.
Retaining Walls
Specializing in retaining wall construction for challenging terrains, we address drainage issues and slope stability while creating visually appealing features. Our expertise includes selecting appropriate materials like natural stone or concrete blocks to ensure structural integrity and longevity. These walls prevent erosion, create usable flat spaces, and add architectural interest to properties across the Bow Valley region.
Xeriscaping
Our xeriscaping solutions focus on drought-resistant landscaping that reduces water consumption while maintaining beauty. We incorporate native plants, efficient irrigation systems, and decorative rock features to create sustainable outdoor environments. This approach suits both residential properties seeking lower maintenance yards and commercial developments aiming for eco-friendly certification in Alberta's climate conditions.
Fire Pits
Custom fire pit installations transform outdoor spaces into year-round entertainment areas. We design and build fire pits using durable materials that complement existing landscapes while ensuring safety compliance. These features provide warmth, ambiance, and gathering spaces for residential properties, enhancing functionality of patios, decks, and backyard environments throughout Canmore and surrounding areas.
Tree Planting
Our tree planting service focuses on selecting and installing appropriate species for long-term growth success. We offer both coniferous and deciduous options that enhance property aesthetics, provide seasonal interest, and support local ecosystems. Proper planting techniques ensure healthy root development, while strategic placement considers future growth patterns and maintenance requirements for residential and commercial landscapes.

Hi, First Lin came out for a consult in late April and gave us lots of sensible ideas and practical advice to restore and improve our front landscaping. Based on this collaboration we developed and agreed to a concept and time line. Lin developed the plan and submitted it to us in writing within a few days and included an estimate of the cost along with an execution schedule. Upon our approval she and her crew went into action when the scrubs became available as so as possible. She exceeded our expectations!

I hired G & G this spring to dig up my tired old garden & put down some weed barriers and add new soil & plants. Lin was so helpful in working with my ideas and within my budget, and has given me the beautiful low maintenance garden I envisioned. Lin & her crew were very professional, on time & on budget, and I highly recommend them.

I hired G&G to replace all the sod in my front yard with a low maintenance landscape. From the start, Lin responded quickly and followed up on any concerns. I was always kept well informed of the work schedule and job progress. Despite my changing the design and materials during the project, Lin was totally accommodating and ensured that the job was completed on a timely basis. I am very satisfied with the work and have received numerous compliments on the yard. I recommend G&G to anyone looking for landscaping services.
