The soil there is garbage, nothing will grow in that soil. Had it tested and came back worse than pit fill. I dont recommend wasting your money onthe soil there.

Great prices and the product is good. Ive gotten garden soil to top things up and put in new beds a few years now and its really nice stuff. Far better than the cheap bagged stuff. And a better price!

Ordered 3 cubic meters of topsoil/garden soil. Upon delivery I didn't question the quality, but soon realized that I had been delivered a clay like mixture. There are so many clay balls that don't break down I am unable to use it for the intended purpose. I phoned and spoke to Mr. Herman and he said all his customers are happy with the product that the clumps were wet, but they are dry and as hard as rock. Well I am not happy, I received dirt, not soil

The service at Mike Herman & Sons is fast and friendly, and I was in and out in a few minutes. All of my questions were answered quickly and accurately. The material was loaded in my truck while I waited to pay. The garden soil was rich and dark, with no stones or sticks. I will definitely shop here again.

They have topsoil and mulch and gravel there for easy pick up. They have a convenient 1/2 yard bucket for an easy dump in the trailer or 1/2 ton.
