Services
Septic tank cleaning
Professional septic tank cleaning prevents system failures through complete pumping and waste removal. Our specialized trucks extract solids and liquids efficiently, ensuring proper disposal at licensed treatment facilities. Regular maintenance every 3-5 years extends system lifespan while protecting groundwater quality in residential and commercial properties.
Holding tank cleaning
We provide thorough holding tank cleaning services for cottages and seasonal properties. Our team safely removes accumulated waste using vacuum trucks, following environmental regulations. Regular emptying prevents overflow issues and maintains sanitation standards for properties without permanent septic systems.
Septic repairs
Minor septic system repairs address damaged components like lids, baffles, and inlet/outlet pipes. Our technicians identify issues through inspections then perform necessary fixes to restore proper function. Timely repairs prevent costly replacements and maintain wastewater management efficiency.
Pump replacement
We replace faulty septic and sewage pumps with durable units suited to system requirements. Proper pump operation ensures efficient waste transfer between tank compartments. Our technicians select appropriate models based on flow rates and system design specifications.
Tank inspections
Comprehensive septic tank inspections evaluate system condition and performance. Our technicians assess tank integrity, sludge levels, and component functionality to determine maintenance needs. Regular evaluations help property owners plan for pumping schedules and identify potential issues early.

Fast, friendly, and helpful advice. I wouldn't want any other septic service to do the work. They've cared for our home for over 25 years. I recommend them if anyone asks for this kind of work to be done.

Excellent experience having Rob and his grandson come to my home to pump out the septic tank. Rob and his grandson spent time explaining how the system works, the condition of the system and were on time and professional. Would highly recommend Northern Sanitation.
