DESCRIPTION: This 3200 sq ft custom home is 2012 BC Code Built, designed by 519 Design and Built by NZ Builders. The home is positioned to optimize the southern exposure and Olympic Mountain views. Large roof overhangs shade the summer sun and provide shelter from winter rains. The house uses regionally sourced materials selected for their beauty, low maintenance, and durability.

Design oriented to minimize heat loss and optimize the heat collected from the sun during winter months. Air tight building envelope coupled with a high performance ventilation system that continuously supplies filtered fresh air to the home while removing old stale air. Exterior insulation around the entire building, walls, roof, and floors, providing warm surfaces and even temperatures through the house.
