Parkdale Green Thumb Enterprise

Parkdale Green Thumb Enterprise is a Toronto-based social enterprise dedicated to creating meaningful employment and training opportunities for individuals facing barriers to traditional employment, including those with mental health challenges, addiction, or at risk of homelessness. Since our first contract in 2001, we have combined environmental stewardship with community impact through climate-responsive landscaping, streetscaping, and plant maintenance services. Our team delivers high-quality work while prioritizing regenerative practices, local resource use, and waste reduction. We specialize in serving Business Improvement Areas, non-profits, hospitals, and community organizations, beautifying urban spaces to enhance local businesses and foster community connections.

Our triple bottom line approach ensures equal focus on people, planet, and profit, reflecting our commitment to social and environmental responsibility. As a member of Social Enterprise Toronto, we collaborate with community partners to expand opportunities for marginalized individuals. Our work extends beyond landscaping, offering participants skill development, confidence-building, and pathways to sustainable employment. With over two decades of experience, we blend horticultural expertise with a mission-driven ethos to create lasting positive change in Torontos neighborhoods.
