Base inconsistencies and density variations in prepping your job may lead to differences in depth at varying locations, this is considered normal but may lead to a shortage of concrete ordered if ordered exactly to measurement. For this reason, and to ensure your pour goes smoothly we recommend ordering an additional 3-7% as a buffer depending on how confident you are in your base and the weather surrounding the pour.
