Always get a second opinion! Bowen's made a wrong diagnosis, said parts no longer available..."your washing machine dead". I ask for the part #, which he gave reluctantly saying good luck! Under the impression that we needed to purchase a new washer, we spent two weeks trying to find a store with stock...pandemic = no stock. Finally, when looking for a used machine, I spoke with a technician and explained the situation and over the phone he said "it's not the timer...it's the control board". He had several in stock, I replaced it, and our machine is back in action. My point isn't about being ripped

Got a call from a rude person from Bowens asking for a credit card to keep on file before they would give us an estimate. When I ask about their security practices they could not give a satisfactory response. We cant deal with a company that can not protect your credit card. Plus their attitude is aggressive and not friendly at all.

We've had several dealings with Bowen's- all of them fabulous. They came to repair an aging gas dryer and diagnosed the problem immediately. Friendly and courteous with more than fair prices. Most recently I purchased a replacement element for my oven. It was in stock and put aside for me. Expert advice from the ladies had me installing the element and baking that same afternoon! Yay Bowen's!
