The original firm, H.W. Brown & Co Ltd. was established in 1951 by Harold Brown, ALS, SLS. In 1968 it was re-organized as Brown, Okamura & Associates Ltd. by Tak Okamura, ALS, P.Eng. J.D. (Dave) Williams, ALS, CLS operated the company from 1997 to 2009. David Amantea, ALS, CLS, P.Eng and Thomas Penner, ALS, P.Eng have been operating the company since 2010 and continue to run it under the name Brown, Okamura & Associates Ltd.
