In 1977, the firm of David Mills Architect was established to provide a full range of architectural services for Clients in south-central Ontario, Canada. The Mills architectural design team is guided by sensitivity to user needs and the environment. From the beginning, David Mills has been particularly concerned with accessibility in the built environment and has worked with many clients servicing special needs.
Architecture for the community has become a specialty with a focus on schools and daycares. With an education in environmental studies, David Mills has incorporated the values of "green architecture" into the practice.

You will have a unique vision for each project including safety, security, social interaction, learning support systems, and economy.
This was the third project completed for the Archdiocese of Toronto. Similar to public projects, there is an overseeing administration to which the local user group must respond. The planning process requires working with the local congregation as well as the Archdiocese in order to ensure the project complies with programmatic requirements and budgets.
