Kaycan is founded. As a distributor of aluminum, Kaycan expands throughout the 70s, predominantly selling aluminum and vinyl siding. Kaycan purchases an aluminum manufacturing facility to coil coat aluminum building products and manufacture aluminum siding, soffit and rainware. Kaycan begins manufacturing vinyl siding.
Throughout the 80s, Kaycan continues to expand its distribution network by opening distribution centers to serve the building products market. Kaycan further expands with additional distribution centres in North America, Europe, Eastern Europe and Australia. Two additional coil manufacturing plants are built to support the growing demand in North America.
