Services
Steel Roofing
Our Snap-It steel roofing systems provide permanent solutions with unmatched durability against weather extremes. Non-combustible and maintenance-free, these roofs feature concealed fasteners and 40+ color options while lasting indefinitely. Ideal for both heritage and modern properties seeking long-term value.
Gutter Installation
We install seamless aluminum gutters with leaf protection systems designed to prevent clogs and water damage. Custom-fitted to each property, our solutions include downpipes and copper gutters that enhance drainage efficiency while requiring minimal maintenance over decades of service.
Siding Replacement
From vinyl to eco-steel siding, our replacement services transform home exteriors with weather-resistant materials. Island Eco-Siding offers seamless installation without painting requirements, while fiber cement options provide versatile aesthetic choices with proven durability in coastal climates.
Soffit Installation
Our aluminum and vinyl soffit systems combine ventilation functionality with architectural appeal. Designed to prevent moisture buildup and prolong roof lifespan, installations include perforated options that maintain attic airflow while resisting pest intrusion and weather damage through Vancouver Island's seasons.
Custom Flashing
Precision-crafted flashing solutions protect critical roof junctions using steel, copper, or aluminum materials. Custom fabrication ensures perfect fit for chimneys, valleys, and wall intersections, preventing water infiltration while complementing finished roofing systems aesthetically.
Questions
What makes steel roofing a better choice than asphalt shingles?
Steel roofs last indefinitely compared to 12-20 years for asphalt, resist fire/weather damage, and require no maintenance while offering lifetime warranties.
How can I tell if my gutters need replacement?
Look for sagging, rust stains, peeling paint near fascia boards, or water spillover during rain - these indicate compromised gutter systems requiring professional assessment.
Do you offer free estimates for exterior projects?
Yes, we provide no-obligation estimates with no requirement to be home during assessment if property access is available.
Can new siding be installed over existing materials?
We always remove old siding to properly inspect underlying structures and ensure optimal installation quality for new exterior cladding systems.
What warranty options are available for installations?
We offer manufacturer-backed warranties including lifetime coverage on Snap-It steel roofing systems and extended protection plans for select products.
How long does a typical roof replacement take?
Most residential steel roof installations complete within 1-3 days depending on complexity, with crews ensuring daily cleanup and minimal disruption.

Installed our gutters but installed two of them improperly so that the water runs away from the downspouts. Called them many times to correct this but they never came to correct the problem and wouldnt return phone calls. The excuse was that they are really busy but its been 1 1/2 years now. They got their money so obviously didnt care. Never again.

Professional from start to finish. Ron took me to see some homes with the same metal roof installed and I got to chat with some very satisfied homeowners! It transformed my home and neighbours have mentioned how much they like it. Quality install. Cleaned up the property very well when done. All done during the height of the pandemic. Came back to make one small adjustment at no additional cost. Worked with my contractor to also do some detail work on a pump house, etc. Highly recommended.

I use this shop for stock and custom gutters and downspouts. Super awesome staff. I've used them in the past for sheet metal roofing and flashing supply, and the experience has always been great. Highly recommend.

Over 4 months since we gave the go ahead to install gutters, down pipes and leaf traps at our home. We are STILL waiting, with no communication from the company, unless we make repeated calls (we've only had replies twice since, always telling us that they aren't at 'us' yet). This is frustrating and is providing poor customer service. There's no reason they can't provide updates periodically, even if their work is weather dependent. It would give customers assurances about what's holding things up, and that their business is valuable and they are not forgotten. Very disappointed.
