Murphy Surveys was established by Walter E. Murphy in 1974. The current owners, Robert and Kathy, moved to St. Stephen from Fredericton to work at Murphy Surveys, eventually purchasing the company in 1990. They have been running the company ever since. They believe in supporting the community and are members of the St. Stephen Curling Club, the Rotary Club and the St. Croix Sportsman Club.
