Baker Flooring

Baker Flooring began in 1970 as a family-owned enterprise rooted in St. John's, Newfoundland. Founded by Roderick G. Baker after 15 years of industry experience, the company initially operated from a home office before expanding to a warehouse and eventually establishing its permanent location at 80 Brookfield Road in 1982. Over five decades, we have grown to become a trusted provider of comprehensive flooring solutions, serving residential and commercial clients across Newfoundland. Our expertise spans hardwood, ceramics, vinyls, carpets, and laminate, supported by a team with generational knowledge and a commitment to quality. We pride ourselves on personalized service, offering a full-service showroom, stocked warehouse, and dedicated project management.

With Rick Baker leading operations since 1975, we continue to uphold our reputation for reliability and excellence. Our client base includes schools, churches, and apartment complexes, reflecting our ability to meet diverse flooring needs. Backed by partnerships with leading suppliers, we deliver products and installations that meet the highest standards. Transparency, integrity, and community focus remain central to our approach, ensuring lasting relationships with clients. As a family business, we blend tradition with innovation to adapt to evolving industry demands while maintaining our core values.
